Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence
E: How about the current vibe and sense of camaraderie among the cast?
Naomi Grossman: It’s great! Even better than “Asylum.” Because with “Asylum,” we’d work, then just go home, back to our normal lives. Whereas here, we’re stuck with each other! We’re each other’s co-workers and social life. Fortunately, everyone’s really supportive and awesome. The other day, I visited one of the “freaks” who happened to be in the hospital. This is her first time doing something theatrical— before this, she’d only done documentaries about her condition. I opened the hospital door, and there stood Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson. I thought, how cool, to have that range of people in a room: from Emmy winners, to nominees, to people like me, to people who were working at the Grease Monkey before this. So yeah, the camaraderie’s pretty awesome. [x]
